Fall Photos
This fall has been amazingly beautiful. I wish I had taken fall pictures earlier. These were taken this weekend after the rain had knocked loose a lot of the leaves.

To Owen... (8 months old)
You are growing up so fast! You are developing the funniest little personality. You love to laugh and you make the funniest expressions!
You might not be crawling, but if you are motivated enough, you can get around by rolling, reaching and wiggling. I know it won't be long before you are all over the place. Your balance is much better nowadays too. It is much easier for you to sit up and reach around for a toy behind you without falling over all the time.
Your toys become more and more interesting to you every month and so has everything around you that you really shouldn't be interested in. You try to reach for our plates and drinks now, and remote controls and phones, and Holly's toys. One of your favorite things to reach for is actually my camera.
Your teeth and gums are driving you crazy. Just the very tip of that bottom tooth has broken through. I hope it hurries up, because it really seems to be hurting you.
You are still saying mama and dada all the time. You also say, "baaa baaa baaa..." a lot. We don't know what that means.
You are well into 24 month size clothes. They fit well around the torso and crotch, but they are usually a little long in the legs and arms. The last time I tried weighing you at home you were almost 25 pounds. This means that you might outgrow your activity center and jumparoo soon.
Your hair is starting to look more and more like mine did at your age. It is getting very long and thick and sometimes the ends just curl right up.
You do love to eat. You are still pretty much just on baby foods right now. You love the fruit and veggie puffs that are designed to melt in babies' mouths. You have even gotton to where you can pick them up and shove them into your mouth. Sometimes I have to help you because you miss.
You are still very good with other people when we are out and about. You love to look at children and dogs especially. Holly is probably the funniest thing in our house. You see her and just laugh and laugh! I think she likes you too. You always want to hold her leash when we all go outside, but I don't know if you are quite ready to do that yet.
You love it when Daddy holds you and tickles you. You still think he is so funny and love to try to get his attention.
Daddy and I both sometimes find it hard to believe that you're here and that you are our son. Everything you do is amazing and/or amusing to us and you make life much more entertaining. I love you so much.

It's over.
Well, no win, but at least it is done with. I guess if enough people say enough bad things to enough people about you, people start to believe them. Oh well. Back to real life.

This is getting absurd!
It is just NOT COOL to have to restart my computer every dang time I send an email because I disconnect from the internet every time and that's the only way to reconnect. Not cool at all. I think my airport card must really, really suck or something, because it works fine on my other computer. This is just what I need, dangit.
